Hello and welcome to my site! If you are here then there is a very good chance you love food and beverage as much as I do! Maybe you are a chef creating beautifully plated dished. Or, you could be a creative like me bringing those dishes to light through works of art or photos. Either way I know that we will have a lot to talk about.
ABOUT ME
I am a lover of life and all of its experiences. I seek adventure in the outdoors, connections with people and nature alike, and that moment of pure bliss when you taste a dish that absolutely melts you!
I was born and raised in New England in a small town in Western Massachusetts. I was always surrounded by art growing up, being that most of my family are creatives and showed me the beauty and passion in all types of mediums. My favorite was always the Hudson River School movement, which lead me to fall in love with nature photography, trying to create images as ethereal as Albert Bierstadt or Thomas Cole paintings.
When I graduated high school, I decided to attend college for Photography and now have my BFA in Photo from the University of Hartford’s, Hartford Art School. It was there that I fell in love with food photography and knew exactly what I wanted to do with my career. Because of my love of food and beverage I wanted to round out my education and learn how to really cook, so I went on to attend the Culinary Institute of America where I received my Associates in Culinary Arts. I now live in the Napa Valley in California working with creative chefs, wineries and restaurants, having wonderful conversations about food and beverage that I would also love to have with you!
MY WORK
There’s nothing I love more than working with people trying to make their vision come true. The first thing I always like to do is to get to know you and what you’re trying to say, whether it be for your website, cookbook, or content for your social media.
There are many styles and looks that I can give. Do you own and bakery and you want your food to look light and airy like sitting down for that first cup of coffee in the early morning? Or do you have a speak easy style cocktail lounge and want your drink to look moody and lit by candlelight! Whatever style it may be I would love to work with you in creating images that you can use over again and on many platforms.
